My Background I was born in Pierre, South Dakota on October 27, 1972. My two younger brothers and I were raised on a ranch near Marcus, South Dakota. I attended the United School, a rural school in Meade County, for grades K-8. After graduating from the eighth grade there, I attended Faith High School. I graduated from high school in 1990 and then attended BHSU to major in elementary education. I married my high school sweetheart, Kirk Schuelke, in July of 1993. I graduated from BHSU in the spring of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education. |
My Family My husband Kirk
and I live on a ranch near Stoneville. We live four miles from the
Stoneville School where I teach. We have two children, TyAnn, age 7,
and Wyatt, age 3. We all love ranching, horses, and being
outdoors. Both of our kids have their own horse, and are a big help
around the ranch.

My Teaching Experience After graduating from
college, I was hired by Meade School District 46-1 to teach at the
Lakeside School, which is located near New Underwood. I taught there
for two years and was then placed at the Stoneville School. This
school is 12 miles north of Union Center. I have been teaching
grades K-8 at this school for the past 5 years. |
